Question by Rebecca: Can a fetus be injured if a pregnant woman has sex with the baby's father?

He's my fiance and we will get married prior to the birth of the baby. I really want to continue having sex with him both for his sake because I love him and want him to feel pleasure. Actually beyond the enjoyment of sex myself, much of my enjoyment is making him happy and satisfied. I'm so grateful to him. He'll make a wonderful father. That being said I'm worried that perhaps the thrusting and movements associated with sex could injure the unborn child. If this is the case than I would refrain from receiving penile penetration. Also is there a possibility that you can enjoy the closeness and intimacy for a time but must refrain, say for example in the 7th month. I hope my details have not been to graphic and apologize if they are. Nevertheless I want to know the answer. Oh I intend to ask my ob/gyn but many people on Yahoo Answers have a lot of knowledge and I do not mind a second opinion lol lol.

there is no problem having sex during pregnancy except if there is some sort of problem in your pregnancy. but if everything is normal and your doctor hasn't said otherwise, ofcourse you can have sex. lol
